As an Associate General Agent, you will be a key part of our leadership pipeline, partnering with SFC to grow, mentor, and lead teams of financial professionals.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop a team of financial professionals (advisors, agents)
  • Coach and mentor agents in sales techniques, product knowledge (insurance, annuities, investment products), client relationship skills, and compliance
  • Help agents build business plans, sets goals, track performance, and improve productivity
  • Collaborate with SFC leadership to implement marketing campaigns, lead generation strategies, and regional growth initiatives
  • Maintain knowledge of compliance, regulatory requirements, licensing, and continuing education
  • Provide ongoing support to agents, troubleshoot challenges, and promote best practices
  • Monitor key metrics (production, persistency, recruitment) and report results to senior leadership
  • Represent SFC at industry events, conferences, and regional meetings

Qualifications & Skills
Required / Preferred:
  • Life insurance and securities licenses 
  • Proven track record in financial services, insurance, or wealth management (experience as a successful agent/advisor)
  • Experience in recruiting, training, or developing sales teams or agents
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage time, set priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong business acumen, with comfort interpreting sales data, budgets, and forecasts
  • Integrity, professionalism, and a client-first orientation
