Position Overview

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager with strong Ruby on Rails experience to lead execution across our MVA lead pipeline.

This is a hands-on hybrid role combining project leadership and software development. You will act as a bridge between product strategy and engineering execution—owning workflows while contributing directly to the codebase.

If you’re someone who can manage a sprint and fix a production bug in the same day, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management (≈60%)

• Lead daily standups and team coordination
• Translate requirements into clear, actionable tasks (ClickUp)
• Maintain documentation and ensure delivery timelines
• Collaborate with stakeholders across a remote, global team

Technical Execution (≈40%)

• Contribute to Ruby on Rails codebase (bug fixes, improvements)
• Optimize PostgreSQL queries and data handling (JSONB)
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues

Data Pipeline Ownership

• Own roadmap for data ingestion and processing
• Ensure accurate mapping of new data sources
• Oversee transformation of raw data into high-value leads

System Performance & Reliability

• Monitor Sidekiq queues and job processing
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks in data pipelines
• Implement long-term fixes to prevent recurring issues

Data Quality

• Ensure normalization and validation of scraped data
• Maintain high-quality, client-ready outputs (especially for law firms)

Qualifications

Required

• 3+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL (including JSONB)
• Experience with Sidekiq or similar background job systems
• Proven ability to balance project management and development work
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills

Preferred

• Experience in data pipelines, ETL processes, or lead generation systems
• Familiarity with ClickUp, Slack, and remote team workflows
• Experience working with distributed or international teams
